O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas themed son, while in church last night I was reading the lyrics and noticed a part that I hadn’t ever caught before. It says “long lay the world in sin and error pining til he appeared and the soul felt it’s worth” I’ve been doing studies in Genesis lately and have seen over and over again the “error” humanity decisively chooses to dwell in but I’ve also seen when “the soul” sees it’s need of Christ and it’s worth in Christ and then is redeemed. God is good, we have a savior who was sent by God which enabled God to forgive and redeem us.
